The Manchester Early Learning Center (MELC) has been an integral part of the Manchester community since 1976. MELC is a non-profit community-based organization providing quality and affordable experiences for preschool and school – age children.
MELC’s preschool program utilizes The Creative Curriculum® and aligns with the State of Connecticut’s Early Learning Development Standards. MELC’s school – age programs include a variety of engaging activities that apply developmentally appropriate science, math and literacy concepts. MELC children of all ages have plenty of opportunity to explore arts & crafts, music & movement, sports and participate in community service projects.
All of our programming supports the development of social emotional skills and building friendships through play.
MELC see our programs as part of a child's extended family. Staff are committed to working with families to provide the very best care for their children.
Our programs are licensed by the State of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood.
