A. Our preschool program and main office are open Monday through Friday, 7:30am until 5:30pm. Our School-age programs are open from 7:00am until the start of the school day and again at the end of the school day until 6:00pm, with the exception of our program at Odyssey which does not run a morning program.

A. Tuition for all programs is due on the first business day of each month, for that current month. For example, if it is March and the 1st is on a Saturday, March's tuition will be due the following Monday. If it is June and the 1st is a Friday, tuition for June is due on the 1st.

A. Changes cannot be made to your preschooler's schedule as all programs are full day and full year.  If your need to make a change to your school – age child’s schedule, please access the MELC parent portal.  First, to cancel your current schedule, go into the account you created and click on the Finance Tab and click the withdrawal/discontinue line.  Then go to the Enroll Tab and enroll your child in the schedule of your choice.

A. Yes. Your monthly tuition amount is based upon the weeks our program is in session. You are not charged for weeks the program is closed for vacations.

A. MELC's Tax Identification number (or EIN) is 06-0949846. If you would like a copy of your child's statement for the year, please call our Main Office at (860) 647-9659.

A. On regularly scheduled half-days at the public schools, MELC will start their after-school program when school lets out and run until it's normal scheduled closing of 6:00 p.m. This does not include any early dismissal days or late opening days due to inclement weather or emergency situations. On early dismissal days due to inclement weather or emergency situations, MELC will be CLOSED. On days the public school systems declares a late opening, MELC will CLOSE its morning only program. The afternoon program will run its regular schedule.

A. On days when the Manchester Public School system is closed due to inclement weather, MELC's programs (both preschool and school-age programs) will also be CLOSED. 

In the case of a delayed opening due to inclement weather, there will be no before school care.

In the case of an early dismissal due to inclement weather, there will be no after school care. 

MELC will contact preschool families via seasaw and email with information on any delays or early closings.
